This item has been claimed to work with "USB-C devices". I received it and tried to use it on an HP laptop. And it didn't work. Customer support said it only works with Apple devices and doesn't know if or when drivers will be available for Windows. If the number of compatible devices is limited, this information should be clear and conspicuous. I ordered a new adapter from AUKEY that works great. Belkin went to the box if a) they provide updated drivers or b) someone at work has a compatible device and can use it.
