My garage had two large but traditional lamps that would blow around with the wind as well as offer little more than minimal lighting. I replaced with these because: 1) 120v, not battery, 2) auto on/off- dusk/dawn and 3) bright. These are very bright, good for my security cams. After installing I wanted to test lamp so tried blocking sensor but I couldn't fool it. Waited until dark and they came on- very bright. The only thing is they have not so much a residential look, but more of a commercial. Auto on/off feature works without fail. Had small issue that I brought to customer service and they jumped all over to resolve- They get 6 stars out of 5 for that! The only thing that I would have liked better is a replaceable bulb, as is if the light goes out, must replace the whole lamp. If it lasts at least the 5 years of warranty I guess that'll be worth the hassle of changing the whole thing out. Anyway, I knew there was a non-replaceable LED in it when I bought it and made the choice to go with it.
