This is the second MG7315 I have bought and they work great. Firstly, this model is compatible with all major cable companies, and secondly, it has 4 network ports on the back for connection. You need them so that you can connect your wireless TV, then the signal will be delivered to the TV immediately without buffering, and you will also relieve your WLAN with it. Look at the label on the bottom of the modem, you will see an IP address that starts with 168. You need to google the full address and use the login and password on the label, mostly Motorola and Admin. As soon as you enter the IP, the brain of the modem appears on your screen and you look for the login and password, change them and press then be sure to use both save buttons. Hackers have programs that roam the net looking for modems and people they haven't changed and then break into your computer. So do it, save 10-11.00 per month and enjoy the internet.
