Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Websites load slowly, if not at all. The video cannot be watched, it is constantly interrupted. I installed another router from the same company TD - W8950N, so compared to this, heaven and earth. With the same distance and signal level, everything loads much faster and the video goes without any freezes.

For Rostelecom, we drive in the settings - country "Other", provider "Other", PPPoE connection type, login ptn, password ptn, VPI=0, VCI=35. All. Got pros: It just works. Does not heat up (ventilation holes are not in vain made) 3-year warranty (during this time, either ADSL technology will die, or the modem will burn out from our lines). This is not the first such modem, they really work for three years, do not hang, they do not need to be rebooted every 12 hours. Has some cons: There is no…

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

The impression is that, in principle, if I bought again, I would look for something else. And so I bought it. Works. I won’t say that it’s a fairy tale, but it doesn’t fail, except for the replacement of the capacitor. What else, for little money you can, in principle, buy and use for a couple of years. Has some pros: Fairly easy to manage and set up. Works stably. There are dead zones, in other rooms there is either a weak or medium signal, sometimes it is lost. There are places where the…

Disgusting, will never recomend it for anybody!

I bought it to replace my old 8968. After five years of operation, the old one began to fly out (once a week or two) and require a reboot. I bought a new 8961N V4, and as a result, it began to fly out even more often (daily, or even two or three times a day). But finally, the cup of patience is overwhelmed by the fact that WiFi is not usable at all - there is no patience! I tried 100500 options - the effect is zero! Suspicion of superposition of waves from other sources, but there is no way to…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Constant crashes - you need to restart the router! WiFi packets are constantly transmitting with errors, which I just didn’t change in the settings - everything is useless! Most likely there is an overlay of bluetooth and WiFi signals from other sources. Lack of timely firmware ates on off. site. I bought V4 in the store, but on off. site firmware only for V3!

A good product, more pros than cons.

Got pros: A good router for its price segment. Fairly good coverage, the setup is intuitive, given that I'm not an expert in setup, I did everything myself. Some cons: After the time of use, I can say that the Wi-Fi module periodically falls off, only restarting the router helps.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I got this router a week ago. Replaced the old d link dsl 2640u, which got me to the fullest. The connection was terrible, the range was small, the transmission speed was everything. I wanted to replace it with an inexpensive router. I fully studied the router market)) and found this tp link router for 1,899 to be the most optimal and did not regret it. From the very beginning, the router makes me happy. Firstly, the coverage area is good, that is, a house of 15 acres completely covers it, and…

Pros
  • stability, coverage area, design, everything.
Cons
  • Didn't reveal.

I bought in exchange for a router provided by MGTS for free with which I suffered (either the connection was bad, then it generally hung up, I had to reboot). Installed this and all problems disappeared. It turned out how much depends on the router! By the way, in MGTS this router is not in the list of recommended ones. In fact, it turned out that it works better than their "recommended" ones. And the Wi-Fi level is stronger and the internet connection is stable. I was especially pleased that…

Pros
  • Ease of setup, connection quality, Wi-Fi signal strength.
Cons
  • Until I discovered

The product is of poor quality, I do not advise.

Having bought, did not check, immediately working capacity. After 3 weeks, the technicians from Rostelecom came to set up a new router, but they said that the router was defective and did not see the Internet line, while the old router and the technicians' router perfectly received the connection.

Bought to replace the 2640U, like many here. 2640 SOMETIMES started to lose packets and squandered the speed, but this miracle works 3-4 times worse. As a result, 2640 was returned to its place, and this horned box will go to the country, where it will have no competitors. Yota will be tested for compatibility there, if it fails this test, it will be sent to the trash.

Pros
  • WiFI sometimes works quickly :) While the channel is free, ping gave small loads as much as 6-8ms and showed decent speed, but this happiness did not last longer than 30 minutes :) DSL itself keeps fine LAN used only for setup when WIFI finally refused to work
Cons
  • When loaded (streaming video or torrent), it starts to lose packets (up to 50%) . As a result, nothing really can be viewed or downloaded There is a lot of wifi in the house, the channel had to be chosen by hand. Otherwise, an attempt to ping the device itself was also unsuccessful. When switching to this channel of neighboring access points, he gave up.
