The people who are complaining have a brain injury

Took an hour to install and my phone battery died which took a full hour. Great system. If you're having trouble installing it, you're probably having a hard time writing or deleting your name

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

NO COAXIAL CABLE INCLUDED

Lol Bought yesterday arrived today which is very good but no coax cable required for installation. The instructions literally say you need to connect a coax cable, but it doesn't come with it so I have to order it separately. It's ridiculous, the product should either come with the cables needed to use it or have a big buy warning stating you can't use the product without buying another product.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not sure

Affordable, Xfinity compatible, reliable

I chose this modem for its price and compatibility with Xfinity. It's definitely delivered! It was very easy to set up and offers excellent WiFi. My service is 200bps and I was advised to purchase a more modern plan to provide full 200bps service. I don't need any of that, so losing a few bits/s is costing me my router savings. That's great. I am very happy with the purchase. If you're looking for an inexpensive router that's easy to set up and provides a good, reliable WiFi signal, you've come

EXTREMELY HOT for normal use

I bought this router and am using it in Puerto Rico with Liberty ISP and everything is fine except touching the router. It's like a burning sensation and really bothers me. I've had dozens of routers, I've had IT experience, and I've never seen anything like this. I have searched the internet and several people are complaining but nothing is done. Also contacted customer service and Revain just said to contact the ISP so they can update it remotely to fix it. I have contacted my ISP and am…

I am happy with this router/modem combo. I've never bought one before so I was a bit intimidated that I would have trouble setting it up and getting the internet up and running. However, it was very easy to do so. Netgear's instructions were clear and then I used the Xfinity app to connect once I connected the device. I think I connected to the internet within 10 minutes of connecting. For reference, I'm using this with Xfinity Performance Pro (200Mbps package). I'm currently using it for…

Overheating problems, broke after 1 month. This is the second.

I bought this router for my father who uses xfinity. I set it up for him and after a few months the ethernet ports on the back stopped working. At first I thought it was some kind of lightning strike that caused the surge that day. Thinking it wasn't the router's fault I brought my dad an uninterruptible power supply and routed all the power, coax and ethernet cables through and brought another Netgear C6220 with me. This 2nd router got SUPER hot from MINIMAL use by my dad who was only working…

Works great when it works! :-(

I bought this router to "upgrade" from an old N300. The N300 was a workhorse that just worked, but the Wi-Fi technology was old and had limited bandwidth .My son now has a 4K TV and tries to play a lot of online games so I went with a newer router with modern technology hoping the WiFi speeds would be much better than what I'm paying for but it's also common to get download speeds between 1 and 10 Mbps!!10 feet to the side and directly under his bedroom. We even put a wi-fi extender in his…

I've always had good luck with Netgear products, but this thing was a nightmare. Decided to give it a try since the price had dropped to $50 and figured I could get rid of the router we rented. When delivered, the brass plugs to which the WLAN antennas are connected were loose - actually loose. I had to tighten them with pliers to keep the antennas from swaying like they were about to tip over. Installing, configuring, and connecting to the router was as easy as you would expect from a Netgear…
