I have purchased a C7000 combo modem/router to use with Comcast Internet Service. For the first two years there were very few problems, if any, but now we face internet connection "drops” at least 3 or 4 times a day. Didn't work for the spectrum here in upstate New York. I called them and it's not on their list of compatible modems/routers. The fact that the packaging says "Spectrum" as advertised is FALSE. $179 spent. I don't want to return this useless item so the money just burned through the Spectrum promotion. OK, seller. This router/modem has known overheating issues. It worked fine for a month and a half, and then it started to fail. I contacted my ISP thinking the problem was with them. They traced the problem to the modem and then told me it was a known issue with this article. I contacted Revain to return an item and they only refunded 70% of the original purchase price as their 30 day return policy had expired. I advise against buying this item!
