NETGEAR makes you pay for a contract to get access to tech support

My First Revain Review! Congratulations NETGEAR, I have never been so angry with a product and its support in my life. I bought and received this router in April. After setup, I tried accessing the router settings. I couldn't sign in. I couldn't access it using any of the methods provided by NETGEAR. However, the Wi-Fi was still working, so I put it aside for now. Today I decided to come back to this topic. It must have been something that was easy to fix. I went through all the official troubleshooting websites and finally decided to get in touch with the support team who put me through a phone call. The person I spoke to listened to my concerns and told me only my WiFi provider could help. My WiFi provider that had nothing to do with my router or could access my router at all. I asked him about it several times, but he insisted. So I gave up and contacted my Wi-Fi provider who unsurprisingly told me there was nothing they could do. I contacted NETGEAR support again. This time I have provided all my information to be informed that the "3 Months Support Guarantee" has expired. Support Guarantee? For example, you have to pay NETGEAR for all technical support, including over the phone. I was then told that for a 2 year warranty the price would be $200. One year costs $100. And you"the cheapest"? $50 for a whopping 6 months. I'd rather buy a new router than pay for phone support for the product. Absolutely, incredibly funny. I will never buy another NETGEAR product and this one will be removed immediately.
