
I have purchased a C7000 combo modem/router to use with Comcast Internet Service. For the first two years there were very few problems, if any, but now we face internet connection "dropsβ at least 3 or 4 times a day. It usually comes back after about 5 minutes but is downright annoying. It's still marketed as a "current" product, but after some research, many Comcast customers who buy this modem/router combo to avoid paying the monthly rent have been having the same problem for months/years. It looks like Netgear would like to fix this issue, but for now. NOTHING!
