Other reviews said the pants were great. You are not. My son is 8 years old, 52 inches tall, about 58 pounds and usually wears a size 8. I was hoping they would be long enough for him to roll over once, but they definitely can't roll without showing his ankles . They run long and seem to fall true to size compared to Cat & Jack or Old Navy. The waist is adjustable which is nice as it is a bit big at the waist. If your kid usually needs slim sizes, I could even go with an adjustable waist, but a slim kid who can wear regular sizes should be fine. They are good quality.
