Definitely with small children!
They save you on the road. Especially for potty trained kids. We have a potty in the back of the van for emergencies, and we always keep one of these bags in there. Everything stops and doesn't flow. To prevent this, there is an absorbent pad on the inside. When you're done, simply tie the bag up and throw it away. We have a potty they are used with, but we prefer a real little potty chair and just place these pads in a removable potty.
