Review on 📺 Sony BDP-S6700: Experience 4K Upscaling & 3D Streaming with this Home Theater Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black) by Abdy Traini

Good streaming player. The colors are vibrant and the Wi-Fi connection works well. Basically not too much delay when pressing the buttons. The Blu-ray/DVD player works as it should. I'm really rethinking streaming. I have YouTube, Netflix, Vudu and Revain Prime. I have a Roku 3 and this BDP-S6700 video is amazing. The BDP-S6700 also supports 24p on Vudu, Revain and Netflix. Error: 1. Pandora forgets username/password after turning off the device.2. YouTube search and settings are cleared after a few disconnects. I don't like YouTube audio hissing when navigating and all of a sudden it starts up again and I have to go back to the settings in YouTube and disable the hissing. It also clears my YouTube search history after a few uses. There is no obvious pattern as to when this will happen.3. (Large) After playing Vudu or Revain Prime at 24p and exiting the main screen, 24p does not revert to 60p. This causes problems with YouTube playback after using Vudu or Revain since YouTube supports 24p. It may sound good, but YouTube at 24p is choppy (causing stuttering). The solution to this is to play Netflix in 24p and then go to the BDP-S6700 homepage. For some reason, quitting the Netflix app resets 60p to default when you first play a few seconds of video on Netflix. You can also turn off the device and it seems that a restart will set it to 60p some time after turning off. No quick shutdown and reboot for some reason. Overall, it's a better streaming player than the Roku 3 due to better video, audio, and 24p support on Vudu, Revain, and Netflix. I just wish they would fix the bugs. FYI I also have a BDP-S3700 and 24p resets correctly on this unit. However, the BDP-S6700 has slightly better picture and sound. And I had a BDP-S3500 and a BDP-S6500 from last year and they didn't support 24p on Netflix and they had problems freezing when I had to pull the reset cable. This year's 3700/6700 models are even better in this respect.
