Unreliable - portable audio and video
The PTT switch died after about 2 hours of full use. This is despite the fact that it is neatly stored in a waterproof box when not in use and is only used on a few occasions for outdoor events. I checked all the pins on the connector, in addition to the microphone switch component. Electrically everything is fine, but my FT-1500m no longer interferes. The mic lasted long enough to be outside the return window. For this reason I cannot recommend this microphone at all.
