First of all, the device has already been used or returned. As one of the remotes is clearly worn out and not working. Likewise. The device is malfunctioning because it emits a single siren tone rather than a continuous 6 tone siren. Turns off randomly, very annoying. I received a new replacement and I still have the problem that it goes away for no reason. My car has no charging issues so there is no reason for the siren to sound randomly. I have no intention of returning it but I am replacing it with the Avital 3100. Lesson learned: stick with a quality alarm company you can trust. Avital/Viper
