Review on ☕ Belmont 16-Cup Double Walled Cafetiere Coffee Maker, Mirror Finish, 2 Litre by Café Stal by Chris Bond

We bought this for our bed and breakfast business. We used to have a few big bodooms but they kept breaking down. This press is durable and well made. Of course it will get dented or scratched, but it will last for many years and save us a lot of money on decanters. Filter and lid are completely made of stainless steel (there are no plastic or rubber parts in the device). People complain about the rubber smell when using plastic parts. Unlike Bodum, there are no hard-to-reach spots in Grunwerg. The cover is made of stainless steel with double walls and a through hole for the piston. There are no nooks and crannies for grease to collect except where the piston goes through and it doesn't need to be cleaned. You can pour normally when the lid is in any position, but it's tapered on one side so you can rotate it. and pour faster. Unlike Bodum's glass carafe, Grunwerg pours much better: It doesn't spill over the sides even when pouring quickly. stays hot much longer than a glass carafe, but not as long as a thermos. It would be good for a long breakfast. There are two things I would improve: make it brushed stainless steel or even paint it to make it easier to keep clean. And have an indicator on the top of the lid so you know where to turn it when you want a quick pour. The above are small improvements to an already very well thought out and near perfect design. a product manufactured with no major signs of planned obsolescence (I'm sure the filter will need to be replaced someday) and Grunwerg is to be congratulated for that fact.
