Not ecologically correct, but.
I know plastic straws aren't eco-friendly, but paper straws aren't as strong and durable. I bought these for our 75 year old friend who hates the paper straws that many establishments now use, that is if they even offer straws that many places in Florida don't have. He was so happy that it lasted for many years. He particularly likes the flexible end. No sarcasm, but we will try to improve our environment in other useful ways.
