Review on 🚪 Maxpow Set of 2 Rear Hatch Gas Springs Prop Lift Support 6463 for Traverse 2009-2017 by Robert Maysey

The tailgate pillars on my 2017 Traverse never raised the door without manual assistance. I even asked the dealer to replace the struts under warranty, but the original parts are no better. After banging my head on the tailgate for about the hundredth time from not raising it all the way, I went in search of better struts. I installed the Maxpow spacers yesterday and the changes were immediately visible. The tailgate will now fully extend from whatever point you let go. Surprisingly, it also closes more easily. It remains to be seen how good the reliability is, but for the first time in 3 years with this machine my tailgate is working properly!
