It is very good. Much better than nothing.
Before I got this, 2 devices just rattled in my tool bag and the inductive amplifier kept pressing the power button and the battery was always dead. This keeps the 2 main components perfectly. 2 places for batteries is not much. You just don't stop. All in all, this is a clear win.
