Review on πŸ“½οΈ Renewed Epson Pro EX9210 1080p + WUXGA 3,400 Lumens Wireless HDMI Projector by Scott Carlile

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's also perfect for home theater.

Instead of a flat screen, we use this one with a screen in our living room. This is our third Epson projector; We have previously used an 8700 that was struck by lightning and a 3010 home theater that showed lines in the picture. We received it as a temporary device while the 3010 was being refurbished and planned to use it as a portable business device. But we left it in the living room; the same bright, same quality, and a plus that was not mentioned in the advertisement: it decodes and displays subtitles from broadcast sources. The only difference we can tell from the 9220 is that it doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi; However, they do include a joystick that you can plug in for that. The lens system is less flexible than the 8700 (which costs $1,000 more but can be placed pretty much anywhere relative to the screen), but if you can project on-axis and not need to correct too much keystone, that's great! The good news is that replacement bulbs are not as expensive as the old ones. It has not been altered for over a year of use.

Pros
  • Professional quality - 1080p+/WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution provides 4.5X the resolution of SVGA for Full HD 1080p content.

Great with a PC, not as much with Mac IOS
