Installation was easy but you must follow the original installation instructions that came with the water filter system. The replacement filter does not come with a full manual as these filters are compatible with multiple models. The YouTube video posted by the manufacturer/distributor skips a very important step - the need to flush the system after installing the first 3 lower stages before reconnecting to the main reverse osmosis membrane. This is described in the original installation instructions. You need to disconnect the hose that connects the 3rd stage filter to the rest of the system and flush out the gray water coming out of the carbon filter. The extra clamps that came with the filter were slightly different from the existing system, but they came with instructions and were easy to figure out.
