Just fitted one of the clear shelves about 2 months ago. When empty, it is barely visible on the wall - it almost disappears. I used the included glue, stuck it to the wall and held it in place for about 30 seconds. Then no pressure was applied to it for an hour to make sure it stuck well. We use it as a cell phone charger and I love how the chords go right through the center hole. It even comes with small clips to hold the chord in place, but the included clips and tape are white so I didn't use them as it would ruin the 'clean' look I was wearing this place wanted. .The other 2 I haven't used yet but I always rearrange them so I have them easy to hand. Overall great shelves - would buy again.
