The old adage 'you get what you pay for' is back. My first clue this was a bug was when it arrived with the blueprint pack and no instructions: nothing! I looked for instructions online: nothing! But following the example of other brands, I figured if I just plugged it into my Galaxy Note 8, "something" would happen: nothing. I played around with this for over an hour and finally found my cable to transfer the latest files to my computer before sending my old phone away. I hope my old files have already been transferred to my new phone, but I really wanted to try merging my photos. Next time I'll use a recognizable brand. Maybe it's just bad luck, but it still doesn't look like I'm getting my worth.
