I originally ordered a similar bench from another seller on a lightning sale; But after having such a great experience with Songmics, I decided to reach out to their support team to inquire about their bench in black. Black goes much better with the decor and looks more durable and comfortable. The customer service rep who answered me (Bruce) couldn't have been more helpful! He allayed my fears and helped me order this bench so I immediately canceled another order. I'm so happy I did! I just installed it which took 30 minutes max and it really couldn't be easier to put together. Only 7 pieces, plus screws for which an Allen key is supplied. You practically assemble the entire frame in one step - hand tighten the bolts first as all parts must be aligned before all bolts are tightened. I followed the directions and attached the top before tightening the bolts to ensure they were tight enough to hold the frame together during the process. Once the top was up I went around systematically tightening all the screws until the frame pieces were flush with each other and securely attached, but not too tight as to not deform the screw holes in the frame. I turned the bench over, put it on the floor and sat on it. Doesn't wobble, feels solid and the nice padding on top is really very comfortable for such an item.
