My dog is a 68 lb mixed breed, possibly Boxer/Lab/Pit mix. After measuring her foot 2.5 inches wide and 3.1 inches long I settled on a size 6 even though technically she would be a size 7 in terms of weight but her feet didn't seem to fit a size 7 . I was very glad we chose size 6. They fit so well. It didn't take long for her to get used to it either. She broke her nail and kept licking it when the e-collar was not on. So we decided that after a week and a half the dog hit us with a cone that we couldn't stand for a whole month, so we gave it a try. You were great. And it helped protect the nail from getting dirty when she was outside. They're not waterproof, and when the grass got really wet, her foot got wet too. She only took off one shoe once, and I think because it wasn't tight enough. We can even go for short walks with her again because the nail is protected. All in all I would buy more if needed.
