Well, the instructions say it will take 15 minutes to install. I think if I had made TV mounts earlier this might be accurate, but I think 30 minutes would be more realistic. However, neither my husband nor I have installed a TV. And my husband is not a jack of all trades. I'm the clever woman of the house. So it took us almost 2 hours! A big part of this was making sure we drilled holes in the studs exactly where we wanted the TV to be the perfect height. . Don't let that intimidate you! If your studs are 16 inches apart or less, you don't need 4 extenders. less screws / accessories, so. Where we put it, the distance between them was probably 12 inches. We chose not to add any extensions and use studs that are about 24 inches apart. The supports are closer together but I think it's strong enough and doesn't matter. A huge selection of screws also allows you to choose the right one for your TV from 6 types. some are narrow, some wide, some short and some long. The only thing that worked for our TV was the 4th we tried. which was worth some time. Unfortunately they only give 4 of each size and the size we wanted had an issue with one of the 4 screws. The grooves that the screwdriver fits in protruded and wasn't as intended, but we were able to hand tighten them just enough to secure. quite easy. Customization is easy. It tilts, goes left or right, etc. Very flexible in positioning. We were able to put a 55" flat screen in the corner of the room! I don't think we could do it with standard mounts. It worked great! Very happy with the result with this product! It was as hard as it was for us, but I think it's more because we've never done anything like this and expected it to be more difficult than it actually was.A good product.
