This display works well. I have two and they work as advertised on Raspberry Pi. However, I've been seeing a console loading message for weeks without realizing it's a problem on a non-phosphor CRT, but now I see the text shading the solid color areas as it's less bright. So my guess is that the OLED material loses a few percent of brightness over time. It probably wouldn't have been noticeable if it weren't for the brighter pixels. I wish I knew. If you're using this display as some sort of fancy numeric reader, or something where periodic blanking or a splash screen isn't appropriate, you should reconsider your decision based on the above.
