My child has narrow feet and I know that NB normally fits a straight narrow foot, but these (regular size, not special narrow fit) are very narrow! She wore them on the worst hike we've ever done because she kept complaining about how awful the shoes felt. I've had other NB trail shoes in the past that were great, not this one. There seemed to be no space at all on the sides of her legs. Very small. If you have anything other than a very narrow foot, I would try a wide one instead.
