👟 New Balance Nitrel Cobalt Girls' Athletic Running Shoes: A Perfect Fit for Active Feet Review

I've had the New Balance for 20 years. Now we have a convert. My 5 year old is difficult to classify. He says it's comfortable. That's a win for these shoes!

I bought it for my son. Looks great, sole and upper feel durable. However, after 2 weeks the black material in the toe area had already worn off. I thought it would be a stronger protection but it looks like a very thin coating. We have to see how the others hold up.

My daughter is very picky about shoes. She usually wears sketchers for comfort. She liked this one for the extra grip of the sole (she wanted to outrun her friends). She loves it and always asks me to take her to the park so she can run around in it! The color scheme is also good and goes well with most of her outfits.

My child has narrow feet and I know that NB normally fits a straight narrow foot, but these (regular size, not special narrow fit) are very narrow! She wore them on the worst hike we've ever done because she kept complaining about how awful the shoes felt. I've had other NB trail shoes in the past that were great, not this one. There seemed to be no space at all on the sides of her legs. Very small. If you have anything other than a very narrow foot, I would try a wide one instead.

My daughter's last pair of New Balance shoes is literally a year old and the only thing wrong with them is that the tread is worn in places (she wore them almost every time) . Day).
