The camera came with strange dust on the bottom, which I didn't notice at first. I noticed the dust was coming from the battery shortly after trying to use the flash and realizing it wasn't working. After seeing some of the other comments I figured I might just replace the battery. This finally allowed me to charge the flash and the red light started to get brighter but then it started crackling. Every time I tried to press the flash button, the camera would pop out and you could see the electric shock coming from the front. Super disappointed. I'm pretty sure I spent a lot of tape trying to figure everything out.
