Review on Eafengrow EF51: High-Quality Wood Pocket Knife For Outdoor And Survival Activities by Ronny Welch

Pocket clip does not work well.

I ordered this knife on a whim, because of the low price and the attractive wood handle. This is a spring-assist knife. This wasn't stated in the product description. It opens smoothly, and locks positively. There is no play in the blade. The blade is sharp. This is a very chunky knife, which at least gives you a secure grip on the handle when using it. The wood panels are not finished very carefully. There is a gap between the wood and the metal, and the wood sticks up higher than the metal - there is not a smooth seam. The one aspect of the design that really compromises its usefulness is that the screws that hold the pocket clip snags on your pocket and it either prevents it from sliding all the way down, or else it chafes the fabric. I will probably end up re-working the clip somehow.
