Review on 📷 Fotasy Canon FD to Sony FE Mount Adapter: Compatible with Sony a7 Series, a9, and a6xxx Cameras by Chris Endricko

This adapter is near perfect. I have purchased several other adapters from Fotasy and have been happy with them. The only problem I had was that I couldn't move the aperture ring on the lens when I screwed it all the way down. Mamiya/Sekor's aperture rings protrude slightly from the lens, allowing the adapter to be tight against the aperture ring when screwed onto the adapter. If the silver part of the adapter was a bit wider it would make contact with the inner ring of the Mamiya/Sekor lens and not the aperture ring. So what I did was quickly make a "pad" out of velcro (from the side of the hook) that had glue on one side (see photo). I attached it to the silver part of the adapter, after which the adapter touched the inside of the lens, not the outer aperture ring. Surprisingly it worked well. A very thin rubber pad might work better, but it's good enough for my needs.
