This is an updated review. At first I just liked the collar because it gave my dog a level of comfort that was not possible with a plastic cone. It's soft fabric yet allows freedom of movement to eat, doesn't get stuck in corners and generally scares my dog with loud noises. I found that even though I measured my dog's neck, I got a larger size than he needed. This may be due to the following issues. I've noticed my dog makes constant (not standing up) snoring noises even when awake, so I know the collar is oddly placed around her neck. And I also caught her licking the slit on her hind leg even though she was wearing a collar. It could be because she has a long torso, I'm not sure. Another thing to note is that I have to give extra air every other day. All in all, I still prefer this over the traditional cone. But I still don't trust him 100%. And I think if their field of operations is open and we're not home, we should rely on a plastic cone. This cone would probably be great for protecting various areas like the stomach or for neutering.
