Review on ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Annie Elastic Comfort Cotton Double by Kelsey Watson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

All is well. Could be great with a few improvements.

size as described. The product looks the same as in the picture. It says JUMBO for a reason. Please wash it by hand before use. I did and it bled profusely in the water. I imagine he might stain your pillows. This hood actually stays in place which is amazing. I used to have a scarf that had to be fastened with five invisible hair clips. As an active sleeper, I sometimes woke up with the scarf still on the floor. However, this hat stays up all night. When I sleep it moves back a little, maybe half an inch, but that's not a problem. I suffer from frequent tension headaches so I know if it's too tight trust me. It is not. The band is actually a bit elastic. It's grippy, not soft at all. So please do not wear these over the edges, especially if you have braids that create tension at the same time. it sounds like a recipe for getting caught. The material on the outside is some kind of satin and the lining on the inside is some kind of mesh polyester. There really is no point in feeding. After the first few nights I noticed that my hair looked dull and lifeless. Of course, this type of fabric, which sucks moisture and oil out of your hair, defeats the purpose of wearing a cap. I ended up turning the cap over so the satin was on the inside. I would give him five stars if he didn't have food like he does now. Someone has to tell the makers of this hat that ideally we want the satin to be in contact with our hair. not with our pillow. (I could just crop that out, will update the review when I do) Edit: Having had it since October and it's now April 2018, I have a few more comments I'd like to add to the review. In the end I cut out the lining, it turned out to be very simple. After about four months the band began to stretch in random places, one side was worn and the other was not. As a result, the hood began to slide. It hasn't bottomed out yet, but it's not ideal. Even though in hindsight I have very long and very thick hair, it might have been too much for everyday use. My original idea was to leave the hair under the hood, but the logistics of getting all the hair through the opening were too complicated. I deducted a star from the review and am currently looking for another hood as it didn't even last a year.
