The white spectrum works well with the Alexa app; but the color picker gets stuck

Recently installed and found that the white spectrum seems to work fine with the Alexa app. . . but don't try to change the color. And when you do, it takes a lot of troubleshooting to get it back. I've tried this a few times and as a result, once you've selected a color, you basically stay with it until you disable Alexa and restart your device. I thought it might have something to do with the color spectrum being continuous on the app and not discrete on the Alexa app; but even going back to the native application doesn't solve the problem. There is probably some sort of sequence for turning the lamp and/or applications on and off; but with a lightbulb; two applications; and two color schemes (white and RGB) for each application; That's too many permutations to troubleshoot! If you're looking for a dimmable smart lightbulb that can go from warm white to cool white and work with Alexa, this seems like it; However, if you want color functionality, this is not the case. Also, I used report a problem in the smart life app; However, once you read the support team's response, the message disappears so you can no longer access it. UPDATED - Rating increased to 4 as I've now found that Alexa conflicts with colored lights. This is an application integration issue. While the Smart Life app integrates well with Alexa for whites; it fails when you try to access colors. To access the colors, you must first turn off the lightbulb in the Alexa app; Open the smart home application. Turn on the lightbulb by touching its icon. Then switch to the color screen. If you then turn on the lightbulb in the Alexa app, you'll notice that it has now changed to the color you selected in the smart home app. I think the Smart Home app tries to be more complete than the PlusMinus app for example; So it would be better if you want to link your fridge. But honestly, who wants to connect a smart socket behind the fridge.
