Very good pipe heater
I installed this on a 1" PVC pipe under my RV. Before installing the cable, the plastic pipe must be wrapped with aluminum foil. High quality tape every 6-8". I used Styrofoam for everything. The sensor needs to be in contact with the pipe. It's protected down to 5F so far, with wind chill at least 10F below that. Not when it's hot It's meant to be plugged into a GFCI outlet It's only been installed a month so I can't comment on its longevity It turns on at 38F and off at 45F pipe temp I'm very happy so far.
