These work. I had to use pliers to get them installed.
I took a chance on buying these when the eyeglasses shop at my local big-box store said they couldn't put new pads on my eyeglasses. I had to use a big pair of needle-nose pliers and squeeze very hard to get the metal hooks on my glasses to bend enough to grip these pads, but once done, they work fine.
