Seems broken and dangerous

My aunt was very happy with it. Until she started using it. The light keeps flashing, it seems to be overheating and the auto shut off isn't working. She was afraid it would burn down the house so she turned it off, put it back in the box and now I have to go get it (60 miles). And she's still cold because she can't use her Christmas present. I still haven't completed the return process, which worries me even more. Thanks for not selling China Sunbeam shit.
