I use it to put dirty cat litter in and it's very durable. The best part is that when you tie the whole thing together, the smell doesn't permeate, making it convenient to toss it in the bin instead of taking it outside in the dumpster. Definitely worth the price as a cat owner as I only use one of these bags a day at most and they will last me a while. I'm not sure how they compare to people who have dogs who need bags to go out as I think you would need a couple a day per dog and if you have multiple dogs I can definitely see that someone goes through it pretty quickly.
