Arrived in a reasonable time, well packaged. However, the inner packaging looked like it had already been opened and there was no instruction manual or recipe book inside as the description says. But I found it on the internet. Kept guessing until we made ice cream. For maximum coldness we put the base in the freezer overnight. The device was easy to use and clean; However, the motor will only stir slowly and will never whip faster, even after an hour! It didn't overheat, as some have pointed out, but we didn't wait and put the mixture in the freezer anyway, hoping it would solidify. As a result, we almost got a milkshake with chunks of creamy frozen milk fat. I think you get what you pay for but we suspect it was a used car given how we got it and no appeal! I'm planning to buy a more expensive traditional model and I hope it's really new!
