Item Purchased: 1.8m Rectangular Table Tools Required But Not Included: Phillips Screwdriver Assembly Time: Approximately 1 hour Overall Impression: Good Desk was very well packaged and arrived undamaged. All in one box, not two as in the old reviews. The box weighs over 120 pounds, so plan ahead for shipping and installation. Mine was delivered by two guys in a truck and since it's a seven foot tall box I made room in the driveway ahead of time. All metal parts of the table are made of heavy-gauge, powder-coated steel with ground holes. The bamboo worktop has secondary character traits that are accompanied by a real wood finish around the edge. The cable access holes are also lined with bamboo cane on the inside to match the outside edge of the table. I'm not familiar with bamboo construction, so I don't know if the edging is for decorative purposes, reinforcement, or both. The top and bottom of the table are so smooth you won't feel any edges. The table top is pretty light and I think it's solid bamboo. Assembly was easy except for a few minor things. The instructions are standard Chinese-->English translations, so you have to think about what they are trying to convey. Not every part orientation is explicitly listed so you will need to look at the images to ensure you are assembling everything correctly. About half of the threaded inserts in the worktop were set too deep to accept M6x10 screws. This has been addressed by replacing longer M6x16 bolts from other parts of the table where necessary. If you must use this workaround, make sure the x10 screws you substitute for the x16 screws are long enough to screw in and secure. Two of the included Phillips screws were bad, but as there were 8 plus an extra spare and you only need 2 it doesn't matter. All M6 screws were fine. The cable grommets are a solid ring and must be cut to install the cables. Again, no big deal. A pack of 1 spare hardware is included in case you lose it. Plenty of zip ties were included to manage the wires. There were no operating instructions or error codes with the table, only assembly instructions. Basic operation is self-explanatory, but you may need a copy of the error codes in case something happens in the future. There are also some hidden features that can be accessed via keyboard shortcuts. The table comes with the metric system (centimeters). If you want the reading to be in inches, you need to press a keyboard shortcut. There's another keyboard shortcut to lock or unlock the table - handy when kids are around. The seller gave me error codes and detailed instructions right after my request, even before the table was delivered. So far I'm satisfied after an hour of use. I will update the review if anything new comes up.
