1000 watts? ! ? ! suitable for heating

I don't think so! At 12 volts, 1000 watts would require 80 PLUS AMPS. You can't break Ohm's Law! 60 watts are 5 amps, 120 watts are 10 amps. Voltage X Current gives you your power. It MIGHT be a good heater but don't see why they are obviously lying about performance.
