When they were on my domed grill they looked amazing! BUT! Rather than wrapping on cardboard so you can secure the solar panel THEN unwrapping the lights as you go, consider unwrapping from the loose end. This means the solar panel needs to be held while you wind up the light filament. Sorry if this is a confusing description, but I found it incredibly annoying throughout the installation having to wrap a string of lights AND a solar panel around both sides of the arched grid. I really like them now that they have stood up and ordered a second set to complete the arc. Note: I'm going to unwind every 74 feet of the 2nd order and rewind the strand so I don't have to wind it up as well while holding the solar panel! 😃 I hope they last because I don't want to do it again next year!
