I tested several Revain tea filter bags before deciding on this one. I needed a fairly large bag as I was brewing a liter of "Sun Tea" (1:1 Hibiscus ["Karkadai"] and Gunpowder Green Tea) about a day later, and I needed a large, strong bag with good permeability . This fits perfectly - it's easy to fill, the drawstring keeps loose tea in place, and the drawstrings can be attached to the container to keep the bag from sinking. The bags have excellent permeability as you can see the red color of the hibiscus tea seeping into the water almost as soon as you place the bag. about an hour after exposing the container to the sun. I usually squeeze leftovers into a container to get all the beneficial flavonoids etc out of the tea - the bags are strong enough and strong enough that I never have a single rip or tear. They are good value for money and quite suitable for my purposes. If you're brewing tea in bulk (a quart or more), they're ideal.
