Great for many things.
This recorder is amazing. The shaft is very solid and doesn't bend like some others. I've been using identical markers for over 30 years. I use it to align screw holes between sheets of metal, poke holes in styrofoam and drywall, remove o-rings, work with carbs, stir hobby paint, mix a small amount of epoxy, and even paint with it occasionally. I still have my original, but I just wanted a different one. The best single instrument I own.
