I've been using it to teach my nursing students virtually since August. In the classroom, I usually write and draw concepts and key points for my students, and I needed something that would allow me to do the same without the classroom. There is definitely a "learning curve" to use when I'm drawing/writing on a tablet and looking at my computer screen, but once I got the hang of it, this device was the PERFECT affordable companion to enhance my teaching for my students. It's thin enough to fit in my (messy!) top drawer of my desk when I'm not teaching, and the cord that connects it to my computer easily wraps around my keyboard when I'm teaching. I love how I can set up the buttons on the left as shortcuts and the zoom in/out option at the top is really handy. I've used it with Smart Suite Online to draw over and into my presentations and in the Windows Ink Workspace. I love its versatility - I even let my kids use it as a "mouse" to play educational games on my computer. Depending on what program you're using, it can actually behave like a mouse, allowing you to click just like a regular mouse - it just depends on how you set up your tablet and buttons! Bottom Line: If you're like me and have transitioned from being able to teach your students in the classroom to virtual distance learning, this article is a MUST HAVE and worth every penny!
