Easy to use for sonar and sonar

This is an echo sounder based on sonar and sonar. It consists of a portable monitor and a floating sonar. The monitor measures approximately 4.5 x 2.5 x 1 inches. It has an LCD screen on the front that shows depth, fish and bottom materials, and battery level. The device is powered by 4 AAA batteries. Access to the battery compartment is possible without tools. The sonar sensor is on a 25 foot cable. It has a float that keeps it about 18 inches below the water's surface. To use the device, connect the sensor cable to the monitor and place the sensor in water. Then turn on the monitor to display the water depth, number of fish and catch depth. The kit also includes a wrist strap, a monitor clip and a printed instruction manual. I found this sonar fairly easy to use. The instruction manual, on the other hand, was extremely difficult to decipher, so I'm glad that actually using it was pretty intuitive. When I first got on the water with this sonar I was able to get the sonar working within minutes. The monitor delivered good depth values. It also showed the presence of fish and if we made too much noise in the boat the fish would disappear from the water and the monitor. I really like that the sensor is wired - it's much easier to track than wireless sensors. On the other hand, there is no reel for the sensor cable, which can lead to cable clutter. I use batteries in the unit and charge them before every fishing trip. Overall, this device is easy to use and will come in handy when looking for fish.

Pros
