Was shipped by a Medicare provider with a different type of oxygen tubing connector. There was no angle in the connection and the hose was very flexible. There was a problem because the flexible tubing buckled over time, causing a decrease in oxygen flow. This hose differs in that it has an elbow and the hose is made of a more durable material. This tube with a plug cannot be crimped.
- The humidifier bottle adapter has a swivel nut on one end for easy mounting on the humidifier bottle. Screw the male handle into the oxygen inlet on the top of the humidifier bottle.
