The material is thick enough to pass the candle test. Where you try to blow out the masked candle. If you can't blow out the candle then it's thick enough to keep things out. It fits my almost 6 year old. I even put it on my 1.5 year old child, thanks to the adjustable part it fits both of them perfectly. Nice design. I buy another set.

- Cute design and I love that it is adjustable with a drawstring.
- The product falls off our child's face easily. I wish he had some kind of group that would help him survive. Wouldn't buy it again.
