Review on πŸ“¦ White Metal Replacement Medicine Cabinet Shelf (1 Pcs) - Detailed Photos Included by Roger Mitchell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A bit pricey but very fitting for our 1970's Triangle Home Products cabinet.

Preparing to sell the house and decided to finish the first aid kit before it goes on sale later this year. This is a 100 year old house but the first aid kit appears to have been replaced sometime in the 1970s-1980s judging by the vanilla/cream yellow color (while the original deco fixtures were all black, white and pink ). The original sticker reads "Triangle Home Products, Inc. Chicago, Illinois," but we couldn't find much information about them now (aside from the fact that they also appeared to be making some car and RV fixtures at the time), so none exists Hoping to be replaced by a manufacturer was out of the question. These cabinets are a little tricky because they "taper" towards the back (measures 13β…œ" in the front and 13 β…›" in the back). Of course I took that into account and decided to try one shelf first before buying a full set of three. My suspicions were confirmed, and while they were close together, the only way to fit them as they were was to force/wedge them in, essentially bending the sides down, so I decided to order some cheap metal snips and try my luck with the first shelf. Luckily this method worked, so although expensive (only about $100 for 3 shelves and a pair of scissors) I would recommend this option to single/elderly women who are unable to custom make shelves (or husband/ brother/son). who could do it for them), provided you have enough arm strength to pierce them with scissors.
