Review on 📻 Pyle PLMRCW1: Water Resistant Smoke Colored Marine Stereo Cover with Flip-up Door & Mounting Gasket - White by Ian Krump

I wanted to install it on my boat with a new stereo. The cover came quickly as always. The cover looks great and includes everything you need to install. Unfortunately, the door doesn't stay open until the end. In fact, it only opens a little on its own. It seems that the spring used to hold the door open isn't strong enough to hold it open. The lid looks new, so this is a design flaw. The problem is that you have to use two hands to operate the radio, which is not ideal, especially when I'm on the move. This would have worked in an emergency and I could have flipped the door to open it, but that wasn't possible where I installed it. I would prefer something that stays open.
