This cereal dispenser is exactly the same one I bought from Target years ago I believe. So I know it will last a long time. The perfect size for your closets and not too big when it's time to pick them up and hold them. The opening the grains come out of works well and you can slide the "little door" all the way back and hold it open without holding it with your hand. Material translucent plastic. Dimensions: 11.5 x 7 3/4 x 4 in. (with white cap). Update (2/15/14): For those of you wondering if this is BPA-free, I can say I don't know for sure, but there is a recycling number 5 (inside the triangle) on the bottom of the container and if you search the internet you will find that most likely the plastic containers numbered 1, 2, 5, 6 are BPA free. .
